Can Someone See if You Follow Their Playlist on Spotify?

With the music streaming platform Spotify, users have the ability to share their playlists with others and follow other user’s playlists. But does this mean that if someone follows a playlist, the owner of that playlist knows who has followed it?

The answer is both yes and no. Spotify does not notify users when someone follows their playlist, so in that sense, it is not possible to know who has followed your playlist.

On the other hand, one can see who has followed their playlist by accessing their followers list on the web version of Spotify.

To access this information, a user must go to their profile page and select “followers”, which will bring up a list of everyone who has followed the user’s playlists. From there, they can see exactly which playlists each follower has followed.

It should be noted, however, that this feature is only available on the web version of Spotify and not on the mobile app. Additionally, users cannot see how long someone has been following their playlist or any other detailed information about each follower.

In conclusion, while it is technically possible for a user to see who has followed their playlists on Spotify, it requires accessing certain features on the web version of Spotify and cannot be done through the mobile app. Furthermore, users are unable to obtain detailed information about each follower such as how long they have been following or any other personal details.
