Netflix does not have Everest. Everest is a 2015 movie directed by Baltasar Kormákur and starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Keira Knightley, and Jason Clarke. It tells the story of two climbing expeditions that attempt to reach the summit of Mount Everest in 1996. It follows the rival teams, lead by Rob Hall (Clarke) and Scott Fischer (Gyllenhaal), as they battle the elements, each other and their own personal demons in an attempt to make history.

Everest was released in theaters on September 18, 2015 and was met with positive reviews from critics. It grossed over $203 million worldwide on a $55 million budget and was nominated for three Academy Awards, including Best Visual Effects.
