Does Netflix Have Samsara?

Samsara is a critically acclaimed film from 2012 which follows the life of an Indian man, named Saroo, and his journey to find his birth family. It has been praised for its beautiful cinematography and powerful story. The film has had a wide release in theaters and on DVD, but does it have a home on Netflix?

Unfortunately, the answer is no. Netflix does not currently offer the film for streaming or rental.

This is due to rights issues; the streaming giant does not own the distribution rights to Samsara. As such, it cannot legally make the movie available to its subscribers.

This is not to say that Samsara isn’t available elsewhere. The movie can be rented or purchased through several other digital services including iTunes, Google Play, Vudu, and Amazon Video. Each of these services offer different pricing options so you can find the best deal for you.

The good news is that Netflix might eventually acquire the rights to Samsara at some point in the future. This could happen if they come up with a deal with one of the other distributors or if they decide to buy out all of them at once. Until then, however, you will have to look elsewhere for your Samsara fix.

Conclusion:

Netflix does not currently have Samsara available for streaming or rental due to rights issues. The movie can be rented or purchased through other digital services such as iTunes, Google Play, Vudu and Amazon Video. Netflix may eventually acquire the rights and make it available in their library in the future.
