Does Netflix Have SCTV?

Netflix, the world’s leading subscription service for streaming movies and TV shows, has been adding a variety of new content to its library over the past few years. This includes some classic television shows such as Friends, Seinfeld and The Office. But does Netflix have SCTV?

SCTV is a classic Canadian sketch comedy show that ran from 1976–1984 and featured some of the most iconic characters in television history such as Bob & Doug McKenzie, Ed Grimley and Count Floyd. It was also home to many legendary comedians including John Candy, Martin Short, Catherine O’Hara and Eugene Levy. Unfortunately, Netflix does not currently offer SCTV in its catalogue.

The show is available on a few other streaming services such as Amazon Prime Video and Hulu. All three seasons of SCTV are available on Amazon Prime Video (in the US only) as part of their Prime Video library. Hulu also offers all three seasons for streaming in its premium subscription service.

SCTV was recently released on Blu-ray in an eight disc set containing all 76 episodes plus bonus features such as interviews with cast members and behind-the-scenes footage. This set is available from Amazon and other retailers.

Conclusion:

Netflix does not currently offer SCTV in its catalogue but it can be watched on Amazon Prime Video (in the US only) or Hulu with a premium subscription. The show is also available on Blu-ray in an eight disc set containing all 76 episodes plus bonus features.
