Sherlock Holmes is one of the most iconic and beloved characters in the world of literature. Since his creation by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, the adventures of Sherlock Holmes have been adapted into countless books, movies, and television shows. One of the most successful adaptations is the BBC series Sherlock, which ran from 2010-2017 and featured Benedict Cumberbatch as the titular sleuth.
