Does Netflix Have Straw Dogs?

Netflix offers a wide range of films and TV shows that can be streamed online. One of the most popular films available to view on Netflix is Sam Peckinpah’s classic 1971 movie, Straw Dogs.

The film tells the story of a mild-mannered American mathematician, David Sumner (Dustin Hoffman) who moves to rural England with his beautiful wife Amy (Susan George). As David attempts to fit into the small-town culture, he soon finds himself in the middle of a violent conflict between the locals and some hired hands.

Straw Dogs is widely considered to be one of Peckinpah’s best films and has gone on to become a cult classic. The film has been praised for its uncompromising portrayal of violence and its exploration of themes such as masculinity and class divisions. It also features some excellent performances from Hoffman and George, as well as a great score from Jerry Fielding.

The film has been released several times on DVD over the years but unfortunately it is not currently available to stream on Netflix. It is possible that Netflix may add the film in the future but at present it is not possible to watch Straw Dogs via their streaming service.

Fortunately, there are plenty of other films available to watch on Netflix which will appeal to fans of Straw Dogs. These include other classic films such as The Wild Bunch, Pat Garrett & Billy The Kid, Bring Me The Head Of Alfredo Garcia and Get Carter, as well as more modern offerings such as Red Road and Wind River.

So while Netflix may not have Sam Peckinpah’s Straw Dogs currently available, there are still plenty of other great films that can be watched via their streaming service.

In conclusion, Netflix does not currently have Straw Dogs available for streaming but there are plenty of other great films which fans can watch instead.
