Plot

As the movie progresses, Cleo learns to stand up for herself and follow her dreams despite the obstacles life throws at her. Despite their differences, the siblings realize that they need each other more than ever and their bond grows stronger as time passes by.

Brotherly Love was met with generally positive reviews from critics who praised KeKe Palmer’s performance and the film’s coming-of-age story. It was also praised for its realistic portrayal of Philadelphia life as well as its soundtrack featuring hip-hop artists such as Meek Mill and The Roots.
