Plot
Counterpart follows Howard Silk, an unassuming mid-level bureaucrat in the Office of Interchange at the United Nations building in Berlin. His life is changed when he discovers that his organization is actually a gateway to a parallel dimension, one that is nearly identical to our own but which has evolved differently over the past 30 years. This alternate universe has two versions of every person – their “counterpart” – and Howard must navigate this strange new world while attempting to prevent an impending catastrophe from destroying both realities.
