Is Hercules Movie on Netflix?

Netflix’s Hercules is a 1997 animated musical comedy film based on the legendary Greek hero. It was produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation and released by Walt Disney Pictures on June 27, 1997. The movie follows the adventures of the son of Zeus, Hercules, as he struggles to prove himself a true hero in order to reclaim his godhood.

The movie was directed by Ron Clements and John Musker, who had previously worked together on The Little Mermaid and Aladdin. The screenplay was written by Irene Mecchi and Bob Shaw, with music composed by Alan Menken and lyrics written by David Zippel. The voice cast includes Tate Donovan as Hercules, Danny DeVito as Philoctetes, Susan Egan as Megara, James Woods as Hades, and many more.

The movie was a critical and commercial success upon its release. It grossed over $250 million at the box office worldwide and won several awards including an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song (“Go the Distance”). It has since become a cult classic and is beloved by many fans of the Disney animated canon.

Despite its popularity, however, Netflix does not currently have Hercules streaming in any region at this time. Although there is no official word from Netflix about why this is the case, it’s possible that its licensing agreement with Disney may be to blame. Netflix has been known to acquire streaming rights to some older Disney movies from time to time but it appears that Hercules has yet to make its way onto their library just yet.

For those who are interested in watching Hercules again or for the first time though, there are still other options available for streaming the movie online or purchasing it on DVD/Blu-ray.

In conclusion, Netflix does not currently have Hercules streaming in any region at this time but there are still other options available for streaming or purchasing the movie online if you wish to watch it again or for the first time.
