Slings and Arrows, a Canadian television show, created by Bob Martin, Mark McKinney and Susan Coyne, has long been a favorite of fans of the comedy-drama genre. The show follows the story of a once-successful Shakespearean theatre company in small town Ontario, as they struggle to stay afloat and keep producing great work.

The show stars Paul Gross as Geoffrey Tennant, an actor who returns to New Burbage Theatre (the fictional setting for the show) after an extended absence, to take over as artistic director. The series ran for three seasons from 2003 to 2006 and won numerous awards including 8 Gemini awards and 2 Canadian Comedy Awards. It was praised for its witty dialogue, sharp writing and excellent performances from its cast. Fans of the show have been clamoring for more ever since it went off the air in 2006.
