Is Spider-Man: No Way Home on Amazon Prime?

Spider-Man: No Way Home is the upcoming third installment of Sony’s live-action Spider-Man series, and is set to be released in December 2021. With Tom Holland reprising his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, the film is expected to bring back past characters from the previous two films, and will be the first in the series to feature the multiverse concept.

At present, there is no official announcement about Spider-Man: No Way Home’s availability on Amazon Prime. However, speculation is rife that it may be available on Amazon Prime after its theatrical release. This would not be surprising considering that Sony Pictures, who owns the rights for this movie, has a very close relationship with Amazon Prime.

Sony Pictures has been working closely with Amazon Prime for some time now. The streaming giant has exclusive streaming rights for Sony films like Venom and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. Moreover, Amazon Prime also has access to Sony Picture’s library of classic films such as Ghostbusters and Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Amazon Prime has a long history of making blockbuster films available soon after their theatrical releases. For instance, Disney’s Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame were made available on Amazon Prime within weeks of their theatrical releases. Therefore, it stands to reason that Spider-Man: No Way Home may also be made available on Amazon Prime shortly after its theatrical release.

Conclusion

It is highly likely that Spider-Man: No Way Home will eventually be available on Amazon Prime once it finished its theatrical run due to Sony Pictures’ close relationship with the streaming giant and its history of making blockbuster films available soon after their theater releases.
