Is Terminator Available on Netflix?

Since the release of the first Terminator movie in 1984, fans have been eagerly awaiting the next installment. The franchise has gone on to become one of the most successful and beloved franchises of all time, spawning numerous sequels and spin-offs.

Now, with Netflix being one of the largest streaming services, many fans have been wondering if they can watch any of the Terminator films on the platform. The answer is yes!

Netflix currently has four Terminator films available to watch: The Terminator (1984), Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991), Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003) and Terminator: Genisys (2015). These films are available in both HD and Ultra HD resolutions, so you can enjoy them in all their glory.

The original 1984 film stars Arnold Schwarzenegger in his most iconic role as a cyborg sent back from 2029 to protect Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) from a relentless assassin sent back from the future. This film cemented Schwarzenegger as an action icon and spawned three sequels and various spin-offs.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day is widely considered to be one of the greatest sequels ever made. It sees Schwarzenegger return as a reprogrammed T-800, tasked with protecting Sarah’s son John Connor (Edward Furlong). This sequel features some incredible special effects for its time, and it’s still thrilling to watch today.

The third installment was released 12 years after its predecessor, but that didn’t stop audiences flocking to see it. This time around we see Schwarzenegger’s T-800 face off against a new threat – an even more advanced terminator called T-X played by Kristanna Loken.

Finally, there is Terminator Genisys which was released in 2015. This time around we see Arnold reprising his role as the aging T-800 alongside Game Of Thrones star Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor and Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese. While this installment wasn’t quite as well received as its predecessors, it still offers plenty of action for fans of the franchise.

Conclusion: So if you’re looking to catch up on your favourite cyborg assassin then Netflix is definitely worth checking out! All four films are available on Netflix right now so head over there to get your fix of Terminator action!
