Upgrade is a 2018 American science fiction action horror film written and directed by Leigh Whannell. Starring Logan Marshall-Green, Betty Gabriel and Harrison Gilbertson, the movie follows a man who is implanted with a chip that allows him to control his body after a paralyzing injury.
The movie starts with Grey Trace (Logan Marshall-Green) who is an auto mechanic living in an unnamed city in the near future. After his wife Asha dies in a car accident, Grey is paralyzed from the waist down and puts his life on hold.
