Where Is Video Call Option in WhatsApp Web?

WhatsApp Web is the desktop version of the popular messaging app, allowing users to access WhatsApp from their web browsers. It has become increasingly popular in recent years, as people find it more convenient to use the app on their computers.

However, one feature that many users have been expecting to see on WhatsApp Web is the ability to make video calls. Unfortunately, this feature has yet to be added.

At present, WhatsApp Web only supports text and voice calls. While these features are useful and allow people to communicate with their contacts, they cannot match the convenience and ease of a video call. With video calls, users can see each other’s faces, better express emotions, and even share documents or pictures with each other.

WhatsApp has had this feature for mobile devices since 2016 when it launched its first video calling service. Since then, it has become widely used by millions of people around the world. The company even introduced group video calling in 2018 – another highly requested feature.

The lack of a video call option on WhatsApp Web is surprising given that competitors such as Skype and Google Hangouts offer this feature for desktop users. It would certainly be beneficial for WhatsApp to add video calling to its web version so that it can keep up with its rivals.

Conclusion:

It is odd that a feature so widely used on mobile devices has not been added to WhatsApp Web yet. Despite the fact that other apps offer this convenience for desktop users, WhatsApp still does not have a video call option available on its web version. Hopefully in the near future we will see this feature added so users can enjoy all the benefits of making video calls from their computers as well.
