Who Is Bigger Amazon or Alibaba?

Amazon and Alibaba are two of the world’s largest e-commerce companies. While Amazon is the world’s most valuable company, Alibaba Group Holding Limited is the world’s biggest e-commerce company in terms of total sales. Both companies have seen tremendous growth in recent years, and both are actively expanding their businesses globally.

Amazon has been around since 1994 and is currently the largest internet-based retailer in the United States. It offers a vast range of products, ranging from books to electronics, to household goods and furniture.

Amazon has become incredibly popular with consumers due to its low prices, convenient delivery options, and other perks such as Prime membership. It also has a strong presence in many countries outside of the U.S., including Canada, Mexico, Brazil, India, Japan, China, Germany, France and Italy.

Alibaba was founded in 1999 by Jack Ma and his team of 18 people with the goal of making it easier for Chinese manufacturers to do business online. Today it is one of the largest e-commerce companies in the world with operations in over 200 countries. The company provides an online marketplace for buyers and sellers from all over the world to connect and conduct business transactions.

When it comes to market share both companies have a significant presence but Amazon is still leading in market share when it comes to e-commerce sales worldwide. Amazon has grown significantly over the last few years due to its expansion into new markets such as India and China as well as its innovation initiatives such as Prime Video and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Alibaba has also had success expanding into new markets such as Southeast Asia and Latin America while also offering innovative services such as Alipay which allows customers to pay for goods via their mobile phone. The company has seen tremendous growth since its IPO in 2014 when it was first listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

It’s difficult to decide who is bigger between Amazon or Alibaba since both companies have established themselves as global market leaders with their innovative technologies, wide range of products and services offered. However when it comes down to market share Amazon still leads significantly with its larger presence worldwide than Alibaba’s current operations worldwide.
