Will De La Soul Come to Spotify?

When it comes to classic hip-hop, De La Soul is one of the most influential groups of all time. The trio has been making waves in the music industry since their debut album, 3 Feet High and Rising, was released in 1989. The album is widely considered to be one of the best Hip Hop albums ever made and has been credited with helping to shape the genre as we know it today.

Since then, De La Soul has gone on to release a number of other critically acclaimed albums and remain one of the most respected groups in the genre. However, for years their music was not available on streaming services like Spotify due to a disagreement between the group and their record label.

Recently, though, there have been some developments that may indicate that De La Soul’s music could soon be available on Spotify. In 2018, the group announced that they had entered into a new agreement with their record label which allowed them to regain control of their master recordings. This move was seen as a major victory for the group and could pave the way for them to make their music available on streaming services like Spotify.

In addition, De La Soul recently released an exclusive EP on Apple Music which featured new songs as well as several remixed versions of classic tracks from their back catalogue. This is seen as further evidence that they may soon be making their full catalogue available on streaming platforms like Spotify in the near future.

Ultimately, only time will tell if De La Soul will come to Spotify or not. However, given recent developments it certainly seems possible that fans will soon be able to stream classics such as “Me Myself and I” and “A Roller Skating Jam Named Saturdays” on Spotify’s platform in the near future. Will De La Soul come to Spotify? Only time will tell but it looks hopeful at this point!
